How Ajax notifies users of alerts
The Ajax security system informs users about alerts and events using three types of notifications: push notifications, SMS and phone calls.
Notifications can be set up in user menu: Devices --> Hub --> Settings --> Users --> User settings
You can be notified by push-notifications (standard signal sound) or/and SMS if there is:
- Loss of connection between the device and the hub
- Low battery charge in device or hub
- Tampering with the detector body
- Turning on/off WallSwitch, Relay, Socket
- Arming/Disarming entire premises or group
- Turning on Night mode
You can be notified by calls and/or push-notifications (siren sound) or/and SMS in case of:
- Hub lost connection with server
Ajax apps notifies users if hub loses connection with the server using a standard push-notification sound or a siren sound (enabled by default).
Ajax call only in the event of an alarm to get your attention and reduce the feasibility of you missing a critical alert. It is recommended that you enable this type of notification. The hub consecutively calls all users who have enabled this type of notification in the order specified in Users Settings. The hub calls every 2 minutes at most. The call is automatically dropped as soon as you answer it. The hub does not call again if the call was dropped or unanswered.
